MC510 Orp Orp Controller Meter

Redox is a measurement method for water quality.

It informs us about the oxidation / reduction potential of water.

Aquariums: In fresh water, from 250mV are considered good values.

Sea water values range from 350 to 400mV.

Pools: The value necessary to eliminate certain bacteria is 700mV

Waste water: Redox measurement is used mainly in the detoxification of waste water, with the reduction of chromate or the oxidation of cyanide.

Orp MC510 Redox Controller Meter Installation:

Connect the 12VDC adapter of the Orp MC510 Redox controller meter to a multi-socket strip

Connect the ORP Redox probe of the MC510 Orp Redox controller meter to the monitor

Remove the protective cap from the electrode.

Turn on the Orp MC510 Redox Controller Meter by pressing the ON / OFF button.

The Orp MC510 Redox Controller Meter is factory calibrated.

A red LED (Common Alarm) will blink when the MC510 monitor mV reading is above or below the chosen set point (with the scroll wheel graduated).

The button on the right allows you to choose the direction of the Redox. For example, if we put the button in the high position (Above), it means that the Redox level of your water has a tendency to rise. Therefore, when the data passes above the set point (data chosen with the graduated wheel), the red LED will blink and the MC510 monitor will activate the equipment that you will have attached (an ozone generator).
