Underland pots may be the most appropriate irrigation system for growing in arid areas with very little humidity. Also for guerrilla cultivation or simply as a security method during a vacation. The small characteristic holes in the fired red clay are filled with microdroplets of water that escape from the interior directly to the root zone of the plants.

The roots grow around the clay pot, attaching themselves to the surface to suck up the water they need when they need it. The moisture in the soil is low. always available to plants. A saving of between 50-70% of water can be achieved. Fertilizer spending is also reduced since by applying it in the pots we reduce the area of application and the plant takes it from the pot.

Once in place it is filled with water and that's it. Soil moisture should be monitored and refilled only when loss of soil moisture is evident.
